PNEUMATIC TIRE FOR RACING CART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 2 for a racing cart having superior grip performance without impairing the road holding property and the driveability. SOLUTION: The tire 2 comprises a tread 4, a pair of beads 8, a carcass 10, a first reinforcing layer 18 containing organic fibers, and a second reinforcing layer 20 consisting of a crosslinked rubber. Each bead 8 comprises a core 24, and an apex 26 extending outwardly in the radial direction from the core 24. The carcass 10 comprises a first ply 28 and a second ply 30. The second ply 30 has a body 36 extending from an equatorial plane toward the core 24. The first reinforcing layer 18 extends along the body 36 on the inner side of the apex 26. The second reinforcing layer 20 is located on the outer side of the first reinforcing layer 18 on the inner side of the apex 26. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
