SOLUTION: The cigarette butt collector comprises: a cylindrical part 15 provided below a table 13, fixed to the lower surface part of the table 13 and capable of holding cigarette butts fed into an ashtray 14 provided on the table 13 and dropped from the hole part of the ashtray 14; a helical member 16 rotatably provided inside the cylindrical part and a drive part 17 capable of rotating the helical member 16, and automatically collects the cigarette butts dropped from the ashtray provided on the table. The drive part 17 is provided with the engine part and a driving force transmission part 19 capable of transmitting the driving power of the engine part to the helical member 16 and stopping the transmission to the helical member 16 of the rotation of the engine part when the rotation of the helical member 16 is disturbed by the foreign matter and the rotation becomes impossible.
