PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device which can carry out an appropriate half-cutting operation on laminated members even when the sharpness of a half-cutting blade has deteriorated after a large number of the half-cutting operation. SOLUTION: The accumulated number of the half-cutting operation is read out from a counter (step A61). Next, the time data stored in a time data storing region is read out based on the read-out accumulated number of the half-cutting operation, and the operating time of the half-cutting is set to a timer (step A62). Then, a half-cutting blade is pressed toward a receiving base until the time-up while reversely driving a cutter motor so as to carry out the half-cutting operation to the printed tape of the laminated tape supported by the receiving base in the clearance between the half-cutting blade and the receiving base (steps A64, A65).
