SOLUTION: An inductor L1 and an output capacitor C1 are connected to the output side of a circuit connecting in series a MOS transistor P1 serving as a switching device and a MOS transistor N1 serving as a synchronous rectifier device, and a MOS transistor Q1 of an N channel is connected in between an intermediate point of the inductor L1 and the other terminal. The frequency of an oscillator 2 and on/off of the MOS transistor Q1 are controlled by a control unit 1, to increase a switching frequency and decrease an inductance value, when the output voltage Vout is changed, and to decrease the switching frequency and increase the inductance value, at normal operation of constant output voltage.
