SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 10, when the capacity of image data stored in an image memory 103 exceeds the threshold, the acquisition of the image information by an image information acquisition part 101 is interrupted, the set contents for specifying print format is changed to reduce the required storage capacity in the image memory 103, further, the change of the contents of set items requiring change in association with the change is automatically performed, and the image data stored in the image memory 103 is changed to the contents according to the set contents after change.
