PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio device capable of reducing alliance work between a plurality of alarm units interlocking with each other. SOLUTION: The radio device comprises a storage means NVM, a transmitting means N, a receiving means Z, a group discriminating means K, a first signalling means Q, and a second signalling means R. The storage means NVM stores an identification table where one of a plurality of radio devices arranged in respective houses is set as a radio device for operating as a base unit, other radio devices are set as radio devices for operating as cordless handsets, a house code for identifying an in-house group to which self belongs and an area code for identifying an in-house group to which the plurality of radio devices arranged in other house in the same area belong are set as identification information, an apparatus ID of the base unit existing in each house one by one is set as a house code in the house, and the apparatus ID of one base unit of the base units is set as an area code. The alliance is performed using, as the main base unit, the base unit whose apparatus ID is set as the area code, thereby significantly reducing the alliance work. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
