Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule medical apparatus direction/position detecting device system capable of stably detecting the direction and position of a capsule medical apparatus body. SOLUTION: The capsule medical apparatus direction/position detecting device system comprises a coil 42 mounted in a capsule body 3; magnetic field generating means (excitation coil arrays 51a and 51b) for generating a magnetic field for generating induced electromotive force in the coil 42; magnetic field detecting means (detection coil arrays 52a and 52b) composed of at least one set of opposed coils for detecting the field intensity from the coil; and a computing means (an arithmetic operation part 54) for computing the direction and position of the capsule body based on the detection value received from the magnetic field detecting means.
