WASHING METHOD IN CAR WASHING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method capable of reducing unwashed area in reverse rotation without applying load to an inverter in addition to shortening of a car washing time. SOLUTION: In the car washing machine of the present invention, an upper surface washing brush 8 is normally rotated and is applied from a front end of the vehicle 19 to be washed along a car shape detected by car shape sensors 14, 15. When it approaches to a projection object at a predetermined position on a roof detected by a projection object detection means 18f, action for avoiding the projection object is performed, and while the upper surface washing brush 8 is evacuated above the projection object by the action for avoiding the projection object, the upper surface washing brush 8 is reversely rotated and applied to a rear end of the vehicle 19 to be washed along the car shape detected by the car shape sensors 14, 15.
