description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring video image management system capable of enhancing a degree of freedom in a cross-reference between sensors and imaging apparatuses and suppressing an increase in traffic in the case of transmitting a monitoring video image. SOLUTION: In the monitoring video image management system, the imaging apparatuses 30 and the sensors are connected by a video network 11, each imaging apparatus 30 includes a monitoring video storage section 33 and sequentially records the imaged monitoring video image to the monitoring video storage section 33, when no free area for storing a newest monitoring video image exists in the monitoring video storage section 33, the newest monitoring video image is overwritten on the oldest monitoring video image, and when each imaging apparatus 30 receives an output from one of the sensors and the output is coincident with identification information of the sensors stored in advance, the recording of the monitoring video image to the monitoring video storage section 33 is stopped.
