TREE PLANTING SYSTEM ON METAL ROOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for a metal-roof tree planting system with a strong structure, its construction and maintenance work being easier than present. SOLUTION: The tree planting system (1) is comprised of a top-open box-type container provided with top folded-back lateral flanges, a tree planting tray (2) with compost filled up and trees planed there beforehand, a support member (4) installed at a fixed interval, each having a fixing bolt erected at its top and holding between its legs the seam connections (3b) of metal roof (3) rising from its surface, a long rail member (5) in the approximate shape of a reverse hat in section with a hold-down edge continuously formed along both of its lateral ends, supported on the support member with its fixing bolt inserted and arranged in plural rows in the direction nearly perpendicular to the flow direction of the surface of metal roof (3). The hold-down edges keep contact with the top faces of fold-back lateral flanges of the laterally adjoining plural tree planting trays (2) to hold them down from floating. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
