Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition that exhibits excellent deterging power, excellent dispersion stability of a swellable clay mineral contained therein and good preservation stability. SOLUTION: The swellable clay mineral-containing liquid detergent composition comprises (A) 5-30 mass% of a non-soap anionic surfactant, (B) 1-10 mass% of a specific semipolar surfactant, (C) 0.1-10 mass% of at least one of 8-24C linear and/or branched higher alcohols and fatty acids and (D) 0.1-10 mass% of a swellable clay mineral and has a viscosity of 1,000-5,000 mPa s at 60 rpm by a Brookfield viscometer and a viscosity ratio of 6 rpm/60 rpm of at least 5 at 25°C.
