STOP LAMP SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operation noise when switching a switch, and to secure airtightness in a contact storage chamber. SOLUTION: The stop lamp switch 10 is composed so that no contact failure occurs due to a volatile organic compound generated in a vehicle while being stored in space where a contact part is sealed. The stop lamp switch 10 comprises: an operation shaft 30 in contact with a brake pedal 20; a housing 40 for holding the operation shaft 30 slidably; a connector case 50 fitted and fixed to the rear of the housing 40; the contact storage chamber 80 for storing a pair of fixed contacts 60 and a pair of movable contacts 70; and a flexible sealing film member 90 for sealing the opening of the contact storage chamber 80 airtightly. The flexible sealing film member 90 is a sealing member made of rubber, where a contacting section 92, an elastic deformation section 94 formed annularly outside the contacting section 92, and a sealing section 96 formed annularly outside the elastic deformation section 94 are integrated.
