description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building which flexibly copes with alteration of partitions, electric facilities, plumbing equipment, and air conditioning of a habitable room space. SOLUTION: The building 100 is formed of a planar structure, a prestressed concrete slab 103, and an electricity/drain pipe arrangement space 104. The planar structure is set up such that in an internal space defined by an external wall as a core wall 101, facility spaces 200 (mainly formed of staircase spaces 201, spaces 202 for extension, and machine room spaces 203) are arranged on mutually opposed end areas of the internal space, that mutually equivalent spaces of the facility spaces 200 are arranged at locations point-symmetrical with respect to each other, and that the habitual room space 300 is arranged at the center of the internal space which is an intermediate area of the facility spaces 200. The prestressed concrete slab 103 has a plurality of ribs 1031 arranged in parallel with each other. The electricity/drain pipe arrangement space 104 is secured under floors of the facility spaces 200 and the habitable room space 300. As a result, the building 100 which has imparted thereto versatility in planar schedule, facility schedule, and interior finish schedule, while taking future application change into consideration, and flexibly copes with alteration of the partitions, electric facilities, plumbing equipment, and air conditioning of the habitable room space 300, can be obtained.
