LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE AND ILLUMINATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which has proper light emission performance and superior long-term reliability, while suppressing fluctuations in the reflectivity at the inner peripheral surface of a reflecting member. SOLUTION: The light-emitting device comprises a substrate 1 having a mount 1a for a light-emitting element 2 provided on its upper surface, a reflection member 4 provided on the upper surface of the substrate 1 so as to surround the mount 1a, and the light-emitting element 2 mounted on the mount 1a. The reflecting member 4 is made of aluminum, and an anodic oxide film 4b is formed on an inner peripheral surface 4a of the member 4. Since the anodic oxide film 4b can provide proper reflection performance and the film 4b is chemically stabilized, the light-emitting device has superior long-term reliability.
