Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recombinant microorganism strain for producing PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoic acid), especially P(3HB-co-3HH) to be expected to have a wide use, at a high level in a culture process on an industrial scale since a plenty of problems still exist in the efficient commercial production of PHA and to provide a method for producing PHA using the same. SOLUTION: Various Wautersia eutropha variants made not to produce P(3HB) by site-specific variation are produced instead of conventionally used PHB-4 strain.
