Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel pickled plum, especially for congratulations and condolences, given with a pattern on the surface. SOLUTION: The pickled plum (A) is given with characters/designs which are given to bun with bean-jam filling for congratulations and condolences. The characters/designs include also symbols, and in a word, if a pattern (a) which is not on the surface of conventional pickled plum, the pattern (a) is to be included. The pickled plum (A) to be given with the pattern (a) has springiness allowing to give a baked mark (a), and it is impossible to give the baked mark unless there is springiness. The springiness of an extent allowing a press mark is properly selected through an experiment. The degree of the springiness is brought to a proper value by properly adjusting a degree of drying. Since the pickled plum (A) with the baked mark (a) has an unconventional surface pattern (a), it is possible to draw attention of customers and promote sales. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
