Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect surely whether an address error of tracks to be at the same radius position between adjacent recording layers meets a standard or not, in a recordable optical disk having a plurality of recording layers. SOLUTION: In an inspecting means 112, the maximum allowable error address including the maximum allowable error of a track position of a first layer corresponding, in the same radius position, to a recording start address value (or recording finish address value) of a recording area 301 recorded previously in a 0th layer is obtained. And in the inspecting means 112, structure of the optical disk is defined to meet the standard when a value of an address of a first layer read out by an address demodulation means 113 is the maximum allowable error address of the first layer, and a signal level obtained by a signal detecting means 111 is same as the prescribed level obtained by reflected flare of a 0th layer obtained from the recording area 301 of the 0th layer.
