Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simultaneous biaxial drawing machine which can be easily manufactured, and which can produce a biaxially drawn film being uniform not only in the thickness but also in the orientation, and to provide a manufacturing method for an optical film by which the biaxially drawn optical film being uniform not only in the thickness but also in the orientation can be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: This pantograph type simultaneous biaxial drawing machine is equipped with a link device constituted by connecting a plurality of link plates under a zigzag state, and a plurality of gripping elements for gripping a thermoplastic resin film which are provided at each end of the link plates, wherein the plurality of gripping elements are located in such a manner that a link pitch when the link device contracts is an interval of 10 to 40 mm, the gripping area of each gripping element is 75 to 710 mm2, and the drawing magnifications of the biaxial drawing in the vertical direction and the lateral direction are respectively 1.1 to 2 times. In this manufacturing method for the optical film, the thermoplastic resin film is biaxially drawn by using the simultaneous biaxial drawing machine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
