description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunscreen cosmetic hardly causing increase of viscosity with time. SOLUTION: Although a sunscreen cosmetic containing zinc oxide and titanium oxide and having ≤10,000 mPa s viscosity at 20°C has a defect of causing increase of the viscosity with time to reduce the commercial value, the defect can be eliminated by allowing the sunscreen to contain trimethylsiloxysilicic acid generally known as a film-forming agent. The increase of the viscosity with time can be reduced even if the content of the zinc oxide and the titanium oxide is high by using a polyglyceryl-3 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone in combination with the trimethylsiloxysilicic acid.
