Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively collect backscattered electrons in a vacuum vessel of an X-ray tube, and to effectively transmit heat energy generated by such electrons collected from the tube. SOLUTION: This structure 40 includes a two-sided first plate 50, a two-sided second plate 46, a fluid inlet 44, and a fluid outlet 45. The first plate 50 is both electrically conductive and thermally emissive and is installable within the vessel 22M so that its first surface at least partially faces an anode 29M. The second plate 46 is also thermally emissive and has a first surface that is substantially conterminous with the second surface of the first plate 50. Furthermore, the second plate 46 additionally has an internal conduit for conveying a heat-absorbing fluid within. Both the fluid inlet 44 and the fluid outlet 45 are in communication with the conduit in the second plate 46. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
