description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand and an apparatus for cutting an interlayer film projected from the edge of the glass plate along the edge of the glass plate without damaging the edge of the glass plate and also easily recovering cut waste. SOLUTION: A cylindrical freely rotatable rotary blade is provided on the tip pf an arm pivoted to a supporting plate, a space in the rotary blade and a suction discharge means are connected with a suction duct and the cut waste of the edge of the interlayer film projected from the edge of the glass plate is discharged from the gap of the rotary blade through the suction duct. The cutting hand operated in this way is fixed to a support and the laminated glass plate is supported by a suction pad provided on a suction hand of an articulated robot. The edge part of the interlayer film projected from the edge part of the glass plate is cut by rotating and angle-adjusting the laminated glass plate so as to abut the rotary blade in parallel with the whole edge part surface of the laminated glass plate and the cut waste is sucked and recovered from the gap of the rotary blade.
