description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize smooth clutch connecting operation while securing a sufficient flow amount of operating oil to be drained from a cancel hydraulic pressure chamber S2 when operating a clutch piston 2 to reduce the capacity of the cancel hydraulic pressure chamber S2. SOLUTION: The inner peripheral edge of a cancel plate 3 supports a return spring 5 which energizes the clutch piston 2 to the side of a pressure chamber S1 and defines the cancel hydraulic pressure chamber S2 which generates centrifugal hydraulic pressure opposite to centrifugal hydraulic pressure in the pressure chamber S1 between the clutch piston 2 and itself. It is supported at its inner peripheral edge by a retaining ring 4 locked to a drive side inner periphery 1a. In the drive side inner periphery 1a, a drain passage A is formed to overflow the operating oil in the cancel hydraulic pressure chamber S2 from the inner peripheral side of a cancel plate 3 when the clutch piston 2 is moved to the side of the cancel hydraulic pressure chamber S2.
