description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely adjust the tilt angle of an objective lens by an inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: The optical pickup is constructed in such a manner that an act-base 2 for supporting a lens holder 4 equipped with an objective lens OL is arranged on an opti-base 1. The position of the act-base 2 is fine-adjusted by tilt angle adjustment carried out by two tilt angle adjustment bolts 13 and an adjust spring 17, thereby aligning the optical axis O1 of the objective lens OL with the optical axis O2 of a laser beam emitted from a semiconductor laser, and the act-base 2 is fixed to the opti-base 1 by adhesive UV. This optical pickup includes a tilt angle fixture 20 to which one end of the adjust spring 17 is connected. By disengageably locking the tilt angle fixture 20 having the adjust spring 17 in the predetermined position of the opti-base 1 by a screw 25, thereby pressing the other end of the adjust spring 17 to a reception seat 2A integrally formed with the act-base 2. After the act-base 2 is fixed by the adhesive UV, the tile angle fixture 20 having the adjust spring 17 is separated from the opti-base 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
