SOLUTION: In the treatment method of the used catalyst constituted so as to separate and remove the oil from the used catalyst to which the oil is bonded, a catalyst treatment device, which is equipped with a heating furnace having a gas introducing pipe and a gas discharge pipe, and the rotary furnace surrounded by the heating furnace and having a plurality of gas venting pipes provided to the peripheral surface and constituted so that a used catalyst supply device is connected to one end of the rotary furnace and a discharge device is provided to the other end, is used. The used catalyst is supplied to the rotary furnace, and the oil vapor, which is produced in the rotary furnace by heating and ejected from the gas venting pipes, and an oxidizing agent are mixed in the heating furnace to heat the rotary furnace to burn the oil vapor.
