Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of controlling the copy number of an introduced exogenous gene in creation of a transformed plant and to provide a promoter enabling expression of the exogenous gene in the root in addition to callus. SOLUTION: The inventors found that methylation of the exogenous gene is enhanced according to the copy number by utilizing a plurality of enhancers containing the same base sequence. As a result, in the transformant having many introduction copy numbers, expression level of the exogenous gene is lowered. When the exogenous gene is a selection marker, an individual having low copy number can preferentially be picked out. Further, the present invention provides a promoter capable of inducing gene expression in the root in addition to callus. As a result, root generated from the callus is free from fear blighted and losing a transformant by a selective agent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
