SOLUTION: In this heat exchanger of the outdoor unit of the air conditioner where a wind circuit is constituted by forming a suction opening and a supply opening, a control portion 7, a compressor 9 and the heat exchanger 11 are disposed in the wind circuit, the heat exchanger 11 is composed of a back face and both side faces connected with the back face, and opened approximately in the truncated chevron shape with a certain specific inclination angle θ with respect to the back face, and the air is sucked from a back face side and both side face sides of the heat exchanger 11, and blown out from an top face side, an inclination angle in crossing a dead space Ad value between the heat exchangers 11 increasing in accompany with the increase of the inclination angle, and a unit space Au value occupied by the heat exchangers 11 and decreasing in accompany with the increase of the inclination angle, to each other is the specific inclination angle θ.
