Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gelling agent for a gelled nutritive food simply preparing the gelled nutritive food by anyone without requiring special operation such as heating when mixed with the liquid nutritive food and imparting moderate viscosity to the liquid nutritive food without sticking to the interior of a feeding tube. SOLUTION: The gelling agent for the liquid nutritive food is composed of carrageenan and a mixture of locust bean gum with an extract from a tuberous root of devil's tongue and used in the form of a solution state. The carrageenan and the mixture is mixed in (5:1) to (15:1) mixing ratio. The carrageenan is contained at ≥1.0 wt./vol. concentration and the mixture is contained at ≥0.1% wt./vol. concentration, respectively in the solution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
