Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a sufficient amount of caulking and reduce caulking stress. SOLUTION: A torque detection apparatus is provided with first and second magnetic rings 4 and 5 and exciting coils 7. The first and second magnetic rings 4 and 5 are each fitted over two rotating shafts 2 and 3 connected to each other in such a way that their relative angles may vary, and a plurality of teeth 21 and 31 opposed to each other are circumferentially provided for their faces. The exciting coils 7 are each arranged on the outer circumferences of the magnetic rings 4 and 5. A recession part 43 is provided for the edge of the teeth bottom surfaces 42 of teeth 41 of the magnetic ring 4, and a caulking part 22 to be pressed in the recession part 43 by caulking is provided for the rotating shaft 2.
