description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polymer particles which have higher level of well-balanced mechanical characteristics such as hardness and breaking strength, as compared to conventional particles, can widely control the particle diameters, and are easy to narrow the particle size distribution, and the use thereof. SOLUTION: A compound having a (meth)acryloxy group and silicon is hydrolyzed and condensed to prepare polysiloxane particles having a (meth)acryloxy group. Inorganic particles are obtained by allowing the polysiloxane particles having a (meth)acryloxy group to absorb a vinyl monomer, followed by polymerization. And conductive particles are also obtained by subjecting the above inorganic particles to an electroless plating. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
