METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PROTRUDED CORNER MATERIAL AND JIG USED THEREIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a protruded corner material, by which breakage of a pair of plates in the protruded corner material is prevented, and a protruded corner material having a stable V-shape cross section is manufactured, and also to provide a jig used in the method. SOLUTION: The jig 1 for manufacturing the protruded corner material has an internal-angle holding member 2, an external-angle holding member 3, and a pressing elastic body 5. The internal-angle holding member 2 keeps the internal-angle between the inside surfaces 811 of the respective plate pieces 81 in an intermediate protruded corner product 80. The external-angle holding member 3 keeps the external-angle between the outside surfaces 812 of the respective plate pieces 81 in the intermediate protruded corner product 80. The pressing elastic body 5 is wound on the tip end portions 814 of the respective plate pieces 81 in the intermediate protruded corner product 80, the flat surface 211 in the internal-angle holding member 2, and the external-angle holding member 3. The pressing elastic body 5 presses the internal-angle holding member 2 and the external-angle holding member 3 toward the intermediate protruded corner product 80, and also brings the respective plate pieces 81 of the intermediate protruded corner product 80 into close contact with each other in a joined portion 813.
