RECORDING AND/OR REPRODUCTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance and prevent the intrusion of dust and the like into the inside of an apparatus main part by reducing the clearance between the cover attached to a disk tray and an insertion/exit slot of a front panel. SOLUTION: The recording and/or reproducing apparatus is equipped with the apparatus main part 3 internally provided with a recording and reproducing section for an optical disk, the disk tray 5 holding the optical disk 2 and moving the same to the inside and outside of the apparatus main part 3, is provided with a base member 12 to be fixed with the base member 12, and the insertion/exit slot 6 of the disk tray in the front section of the disk tray 5, and is equipped with the front panel 4 placed on one side face of the apparatus main part 3, the cover 11 closing the insertion/exit slot 6 by roughly fitting into the insertion/exit slot 6, and an elastic body 13 connecting the base member 12 and the cover 11 in such a manner that the cover is movable relative to the base member 12.
