Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning device with an inverter compressor for actualizing energy saving operation by utilizing an existing external thermostat, and to provide its method. SOLUTION: A value based on a room temperature detected when a signal from the external thermostat 7 is changed from ON into OFF is set as a target temperature to control the control frequency of the inverter compressor 3. Otherwise, a value based on the control frequency of the inverter compressor 3 when the signal from the external thermostat 7 is changed from ON into OFF is set as a target frequency, instead of the target temperature, to perform optimum inverter control.
