Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop new applications of a sulfated polysaccharide and to thereby provide a neutrophile activator, an anti-infection agent, a neutrophil migration activity enhancer, a neutrophil active oxygen generation enhancer, and a food and drink composition by using the polysaccharide. SOLUTION: The neutrophil activator contains a sulfated polysaccharide having a molecular weight of 5,000 to 400,000. The sulfated polysaccharide can be desirably used as a neutrophil migration activity enhancer by a chemotactic peptide stimulus and an active oxygen generation enhancer and in addition as an anti-infection agent based on these effects. Further, the sulfated polysaccharide can be desirably used as a component of a food and drink composition for the activation of neutrophils. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
