SOLUTION: The method for image forming includes an electrostatic latent image forming step, a developing step, a transferring step and a fixing step, wherein a fixing device comprising a magnetic metal and employing an electromagnetic induction heating system is used in the fixing step. The toner comprises a toner material containing at least an active hydrogen group-containing compound and a polymer reactive with the active hydrogen group-containing compound. The toner comprises toner matrix particles having 3 to 7 μm volume average particle size (Dv), 1.01 to 1.25 ratio (Dv/Dn) of the volume average particle size (Dv) to the number average particle size (Dn), having 20 number% proportion of particles having 0.6 to 2.0 μm particle size, and having the average circularity of 0.93 to 0.99.
