INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system and information processing apparatus where a desired program can be viewed, even if the state of receiving a television broadcast has deteriorated accompanying moving. SOLUTION: The system includes a communications unit communicating with a television broadcast receiving unit, the communication unit is capable of receiving a television broadcast via a public line or the like, and the status of receiving in the television broadcast receiving unit is monitored. If a reception signal becomes deteriorated, the communication unit switches so as to receive the television broadcast, thereby avoiding interruption of the television broadcasting.
