SOLUTION: The pile construction machine has the steel pipe or casing tube 2; a tubing device 1 gripping it by a chuck mechanism and transmitting rotational force of a driving motor to rotate the steel pipe or casing tube and and to push it into the ground by the driving force of a lifting cylinder; and the excavating device 5 equipped with the excavating tool for excavating the ground and a grip mechanism for pressing a plurality of grip members provided at equal spaces on a cylindrical internal wall, wherein the excavating tool is mounted into the steel pipe or casing tube 2 by the grip mechanism to close a lower end opening. Soil excavated by the excavating tool of the excavating device is pushed away to the outside of the steel pipe or casing tube 2 to excavate forward, and after excavating down to a predetermined depth, the excavating device is detached from the steel pipe or casing tube and taken out.
