Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for obtaining a crosslinked structure in a high yield which is composed of an ethylene oxide copolymer and an epoxy compound, has a strength sufficient enough for use particularly in medical materials and the like and gives off a reduced amount of eluted substances. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process of the crosslinked structure is characterized in that a polyethylene oxide having a primary hydroxy group in the side chain is reacted with an epoxy compound substantially in the absence of water.
