MICROCOMPUTER AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING MICROCOMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer that completes operation optimization in a shorter period of time. SOLUTION: The microcomputer comprises a nonvolatile memory for storing optimization data to be used to optimize the operation of the microcomputer and an optimization circuit for synchronizing with a first clock to read memory optimization data being the optimization data to be used to optimize the operation of the nonvolatile memory from the nonvolatile memory and executing the operation optimization of the nonvolatile memory on the basis of the memory optimization data. The optimization circuit synchronizes with a second clock to read other optimization data from the nonvolatile memory. Further, in the case, the optimization circuit is preferably configured to have a clock switching circuit for selectively outputting the first clock and the second clock.
