Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of creating a color-mapping look-up table (LUT) which can create color-mapping LUTs, in which significant colors can be reproduced more optimally, by specifying the significant colors as lattice points of the LUT. SOLUTION: The method of creating a color-mapping LUT includes obtaining color-space data for respective solid colors specified as the lattice points of the color-mapping LUT; obtaining color-space data for respective achromatic colors, specified as the lattice points of the color-mapping LUT; and tabulating the color-space data for the respective solid colors, specified as the lattice points and the color-space data for the respective achromatic colors, specified as the lattice points.
