Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket for a construction machine having side plates reduced in weight while maintaining strength. SOLUTION: The bucket has a bottom plate bent in an approximately U-shape, and a pair of side plates welded to both width direction sides orthogonal to the bent direction of the bottom plate. Each of the pair of side plates has a side plate body located on the bottom side of a U-shape of the bottom plate, and an opening side plate located on the opening side of the U-shape, and further has a lap weld part where the end of the opening side plate is overlap-welded to the bucket outer surface side of the side plate body.
