Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core drill excellent in grinding performance by preventing thermal distortion, securing the strength of a shank, and preventing the tip section of the shank from being deformed into a trumpet shape. SOLUTION: Tips 2 are joined to the tip section of the shank 1 at intervals by brazing. Slits 3 are axially formed to part of the tip section of the shank 1 where the tips 2 are not joined. The tip 2 is formed by bonding abrasive grains such as diamond with a bonding material made of metal or the like. A groove is provided to an area, which lies on the outer peripheral side of the tip of the shank 1 and where the slits 3 are formed, in the circumferential direction of the shank 1. A wire 4 is wound in the groove. The groove has a depth capable of accommodating the wire 4 inside when the wire 4 is wound in the groove. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
