AUTOMATIC DOCUMENT FEEDER, IMAGE READER MOUNTED WITH THE SAME AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic document feeder, an image reader mounted with the feeder and an image forming device capable of improving productivity at the time of reading a document by reducing a document feeding loss in a sheet through system. SOLUTION: Before a controller of an ADF 200 detects a reading start signal from a device body control part, a document S is fed (next document first-out). When the reading start signal is not detected before the document reaches the reading position of a first reading and feeding part 5, the document is stopped in the upstream of the reading position. When the reading start signal is detected before the document reaches, the document is not stopped in the upstream of the reading position but fed continuously to the reading position to reduce a feeding loss caused by a temporary stop (registration stop) immediately before the reading position.
