RECTANGULAR CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a gripping part of a container so as to have a sufficient strength without spoiling gripping properties and handleabilities of the container in a rectangular container capable of arranging a plurality of the containers side by side and equipped with a flange cutout part for facilitating taking out a container from a group of the containers arranged. SOLUTION: On a main body 40 of one side wall 4 constituting the container, a first flange 41 and a second flange 42 respectively projects outward in the horizontal direction on the upper end part of the side wall and below the first flange 41. The second flange 42 has a projecting length on the lower face side of which a hand finger can be hooked. The first flange 41 has a narrow width part 41b with an outer end further retreated to the side wall body side than the outer end position of the second flange 42 by forming the flange cutout part 41a. The gripping part H is constituted of the side wall body 40, the narrow width part 41b of the first flange and the second flange 42, and a space for inserting the hand finger is constructed between both flanges 41 and 42.
