SOLUTION: The lighting system of the present invention is constructed by attaching many fluorescent lamps on a surface of a ceiling and covering them with the illumination cover made by stretching the light diffusion sheet on a frame, wherein the lighting device is characterized in that a reflector which reflects light irregularly is disposed on the surface of the ceiling. The lighting device is also characterized in that the light diffusion sheet consists of glass fiber fabric. Moreover, the lighting device is characterized in that the reflector is an aluminum plate, a metal plate or an aluminum film, which has embossings or irregularities for irregularly reflecting the light irradiated from a light source.
