Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/reproducing device wherein the visibility of dubbing mode display is improved. SOLUTION: This recording/reproducing device is equipped with: a 1st recording/reproducing section; a 2nd recording/reproducing section; a display section having a 1st display showing the 1st recording/reproducing section, a 2nd display showing the 2nd recording/reproducing section and a plurality of light emitting elements arranged between the 1st display and the 2nd display; and an input section wherein an instruction is inputted to start the dubbing for transferring data between the 1st recording/reproducing section and 2nd recording/reproducing section. The display section displays the dubbing direction, dubbing speed and dubbing progress by the lighting of the plurality of light emitting elements, when the above start instruction is inputted to the input section and the dubbing is started.
