description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber type multiple sensor system that has a simple constitution, detects an abnormal part (distortion occurrence part) accurately, and can be realized inexpensively. SOLUTION: The optical fiber type multiple sensor system is constituted by a compound sensor formed by combining a sensor for converting it into variation of at least one light signal intensity and a sensor for converting it into variation of at least one signal wavelength. As the sensor for converting it into variation of the light signal intensity, a sensor capable of attenuating or blocking light using bending or breakage of an optical fiber is used. As the sensor for converting it into variation of the signal wavelength, an FBG sensor is used. The sensor for converting it into variation of the light signal intensity is always arranged on a light source side with respect to the FBG sensor. Since the sensor for converting it into variation of the light signal intensity and the sensor for converting it into variation of the signal wavelength are combined, the inexpensive system having the simple constitution can be constructed, and the abnormality occurrence part and an occurrence amount can be measured accurately.
