Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc air battery preventing standing deterioration and applicable to many-kind and wide range apparatuses. SOLUTION: In the zinc air battery using oxygen in a positive electrode and zinc in a negative electrode and having an air hole for taking in oxygen on the bottom of a positive case, since deterioration caused by the outside air is prevented by shutting the outside air off the air hole by arranging a cup-shaped end part on the bottom of the positive case, a standing deterioration ratio can be decreased compared with a usual standing zinc air battery, and widening of the application of the zinc air battery is made possible.
