METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OPTICAL PICKUP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture plural kinds of optical picks with high efficiency and at low costs. SOLUTION: The optical pickup has a movable part 30 fixed to a base part 10 to be displaced, and an objective lens 41 and a balancer 50 are fixed to the movable part 30. In the manufacturing of this optical pickup, plural kinds of lens holders 42 having inner shapes to match the plural kinds of objective lenses 41 and common outer shapes to be fixed to the common movable parts 30 are prepared, and plural kinds of balancers 50 different in weight are prepared corresponding to the plural kinds of objective lenses 41. A lens holder 42 and a balancer 50 of kinds corresponding to an objective lens 41 to be fixed to the movable part 30 are selected, and the objective lens is incorporated into the selected lens holder 42 and balancer 50 to be fixed to the movable part 30.
