description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismatic reinforcing structure of the existing building capable of reinforcing the existing building to a foundation when aseismatic reinforcement of the existing building can be carried out and, at the same time, preventing the deterioration of the foundation therefor. SOLUTION: Reinforcing bars connected to a continuous footing 1 are arranged outward of the continuous footing 1 of the existing building H to construct a reinforced concrete-made attached foundation 2 constructed by placing a concrete making the reinforcing bars as cores. A space between an anchor member 3 buried in the attached foundation 2 and a beam 5 placed on the upper part side of the building H is slantly expanded by a brace member 15. The existing building H is firmly fixed to the foundation by the brace member 15, and the aseismatic reinforcement is realized by the brace member 15. The continuous footing 1 is not damaged for installing the anchor member 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
