Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium transferring device which can suppress effects onto the transfer at the time of cutting of a medium, and to provide a recorder equipped with the medium transferring device. SOLUTION: A plurality of ribs 44 and 45 are set at transfer upstream and downstream sides via a travel face so that the travel face of a cutting means 154 becomes lower than a transfer route of the medium. The medium can be cut while cockling generated at the medium is maintained by the ribs. Such situation that the cockling greatly falls on the other part can be prevented accordingly.
